Achievement Mentor

With effect from September 2025

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 5 – 7 £24,790 - £25,584 per annum

Actual salary £21,295 - £21,977

Hours: 37 per week - term time only plus 5 days

 

The Marvell College seek to appoint an Achievement Mentor to work under the direct instruction of senior pastoral leaders to support children to ensure they learn and achieve well.

Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, encouraging and have high expectations for the learning, progress and personal development of young people.

The Marvell College continues to go from strength to strength.  This was confirmed by another strong “Good” Ofsted report in July 2024.

Salary: Grade 6 SCP 14 – 19 £28,624 - £31,067

Actual salary - £24,064 - £26,118

Hours: 37 per week – term time only

The Marvell College seek to appoint a person to join a team of committed, caring and enthusiastic staff who share the college philosophy that all students should have the opportunity to achieve. The college is committed to appointing high quality staff and supports their development.

The successful applicant will need a high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to both students and adults. The role will involve managing and supervising the learning of students during the absence of the class teacher to maximise the attainment and accelerate the progress of students.
