Learning Support Assistant – Level 1

With immediate effect  

Salary: Grade 3 SCP 3 – 5 £20,812 - £21,575 pro rata

Actual salary - £16,187 - £16,780

Hours: 33.5 per week - term time only plus 5 days 

The Marvell College requires learning support assistants to work under the direct instruction of senior pastoral leaders to support children to ensure they learn and achieve well.

Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, encouraging and have high expectations for the learning, progress and personal development of young people.

The Marvell College has gone from strength to strength since receiving a “Good” Ofsted report in July 2019. Since then, the school has been oversubscribed every year. Data & Attendance Assistant

Data & Attendance Assistant

Grade 4 term time only – plus two directed days

  Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 5 –7) £21,575 - £22,369 per annum

Actual salary – £18,248 - £18,920 pro rata

37 Hours:  8.00am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday,

8.00am – 3.45pm Friday

We are seeking to appoint a Data & Attendance Assistant to join the Attendance department. The successful applicant will have a strong proven track record in administration and at least two years’ experience in an administrative role would be desirable.  You must be able to produce a wide range of documents using Microsoft Office products such as, Word, Excel and Outlook. The person appointed must have high work standards, attention to detail, customer service and strong organisational skills.

Healthcare Assistant

Healthcare Assistant/First Aid

Hours: 37 per week - term time only plus 5 days

8.00am to 4.00 pm Monday – Thursday

                                               8.00am – 3.30pm Friday

The Marvell College seek to appoint a healthcare professional to join a team of committed, caring and enthusiastic pastoral staff who share the college philosophy that all students should have the opportunity to achieve.  The college is committed to appointing high quality staff and supports their development.

Required as soon as possible we are seeking to appoint a Healthcare Assistant / First Aid person to provide all aspects of first aid to students, staff and visitors as required.  You will collate and share medical information, arrange visits by NHS staff and collate and share accident/incident reports with relevant agencies.  The successful candidate would be expected to hold a current First Aid at Work certificate or complete First Aid training on appointment.
