The Marvell College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly qualified teacher to undertake the role of Head of Year. Are you committed to the highest standards of pastoral support for student welfare and learning? Are you able to establish a strong rapport with young people? Are you committed to changing lives? Then this may be the role for you.

The successful applicant will join a dedicated team of teaching and support staff who are absolutely committed to delivering a world class education for all our young people. We have invested heavily in pastoral care with each year team being made up of a Head of Year, Two Achievement Mentors, and a dedicated Senior Link.

Successful candidates will be supported to fully develop in the role, benefiting from bespoke CPD opportunities both at The Marvell College and through The Vantage Teaching School Hub. In addition, colleagues will also benefit from being part of The Hull Collaborative Multi-Academy Trust (HCAT) where there are significant opportunities for further progression as well as generous employee benefits and favourable pay and conditions.

The Marvell College has gone from strength to strength since receiving a “Good” Ofsted report in July 2019. Since then, the school has been oversubscribed every year.
