Learning Support Assistants

(Level 1)

Salary: Grade 3 SCP 11 – 14  £15,807pa - £16,781pa

Hours: 32.5 per week - term time only plus 2 days  

&

(Level 2)

Salary:  Grade 4 SCP 15 – 18 £17,072 - £18,070pa

Hours:  37 per week – term time only plus 2 days

The Marvell College requires learning support assistants to work under the direct instruction of senior pastoral leaders to support children to ensure they learn and achieve well.

Mini Bus Driver

Hours – Casual Contract

Grade 3 - Point 11

Salary £8.19 per hour

Governors of The Marvell College are seeking to appoint a reliable and experienced person to drive the school mini bus safely transporting student groups.   

The successful candidate will hold a full and clean driving licence including the mini bus element.

Examination Invigilators - Casual

Grade 2 SCP 7 - £7.83 per hour

The Marvell College requires casual examination invigilators to join our existing team.

Successful candidates will be reliable, punctual and highly organised.

In addition they will demonstrate an ability to remain calm, show clear understanding of examination guidelines following induction training and be empathetic to the needs of candidates in a high pressure exam environment.

School Direct Trainees

All of our current Schools Direct trainees were successful in achieving their PGCE through Leeds Trinity University, St. Mary’s College and The Marvell College programme.  62.5% were graded outstanding and 100% good or better.
