Governors of The Marvell College seek to appoint a Social, Emotional and Academic support practitioner to join our talented pastoral team in providing high quality provision for children. At The Marvell College we believe that any behaviour, positive or negative is a form of communication. When behaviour is not desirable we seek to understand what it is telling us in relation to the distress, unhappiness or developmental needs of a child and address this decisively. The post holder will work with a team of colleagues in our lesson remove and internal exclusion room to explore this whilst supporting the learning of children. They will ensure that provision is highly effective and leads to demonstrable improvement in the social, emotional and academic needs of children. The successful candidate will be curious, assertive, highly skilful in engaging children and deeply nurturing. They will understand, articulate and demonstrate their ability to form effective relationships with children that accelerate their progress. Experience of working in a school setting is essential.

Examination Invigilators - Casual

Grade 2 SCP 7 - £8.55 per hour

The Marvell College requires casual examination invigilators to join our existing team.

 Successful candidates will be reliable, punctual and highly organised.  

In addition they will demonstrate an ability to remain calm, show clear understanding of examination guidelines following induction training and be empathetic to the needs of candidates in a high pressure exam environment.
