Year 9 Food Technology food workshop

Year 9 Food Technology students participated in a food workshop which involved working alongside professional chef, a regular on Saturday Kitchen, Joe Hurd and his co-worker Nicky to produce high skill food dishes.

Students worked incredibly hard to make an apple pie and pasta with a sauce from scratch and completed these safely, efficiently and successfully. Students were focused throughout, well behaved and contributed to an enthusiastic and positive atmosphere. Joe and Nicky left saying they had been the best set of students they had ever worked with, were very proud of the outcomes produced and were eager to return in the future. Well done to all those who took part in this exciting event!
