Year 11 Prom

We aim for all of our Year 11 students to attend the Prom as an award for good behaviour, completion of work, excellent punctuality and good attendance.

Invitations are issued after the Easter holiday.

What happens at the Prom

Every year, our students look forward to the Prom with great excitement. All the students look extremely smart, and there is always a long queue for the photographer. Prizes are awarded to the best dressed male, the best dressed female and the best dressed couple, winners being chosen by staff and pupils who attend the Prom. A further prize is also given to the person wearing the most original dress.

The Prom King and Prom Queen, who are given a crown and a sash respectively, are selected because of their contribution to The Marvell College.

Students MUST meet a certain criteria to be invited to the Prom.

Students who achieve specific goals will receive a voucher towards the Prom.

Information about the 2017 Year 11 Prom is coming soon.
